It’s that time of year when accessorizing gets fun and interesting. And one of my favorite fashion touches that can instantly make all the difference in a look is the silk scarf. Not only do they contribute the perfect touch of elegance. But can literally be added to the most basic of pieces and result in an instant polished and complete look.
Over the years I have compiled a nice little collection in various styles and prints. Many have been thrifted (those little baskets with piles of thrifted scarves are like a treasure box to me). Some inexpensive and perhaps on the trendy side. And some from name brand classics that will never not be current. My favorite shape for its versatility is the medium to large square. They are just easier to work with for various styling (neck, handbags, hair etc…).
The scarf I am wearing in todays post is by Coach in a lovely bright orange with leopard print. It was a thrift find a few years back. Since my style tends to lean more towards neutrals I felt it would be a nice way to bring in some color without over doing it per my taste. I was a tad hesitant at first, but since it was a good deal I decided to give the bright orange a try. I’m so glad I did.
Silk scarves are really hitting the scene right now and I’m seeing some really beautiful options. So I thought I would share some of my favorites should you want to add a touch of elegance to your looks.
